The project
Project overview.
USS Formwork supported concrete structure delivery at 58 Regent Street, a single-building development comprising 13 levels and two basement levels. The photographed works show basement walls, core elements, slab formwork, stair construction and progressive concrete placement within the excavated site.
The challenge
The deep basement excavation and adjoining occupied properties required formwork, access and concrete works to be coordinated within a constrained urban site.
Our approach
Temporary support, deck formwork, vertical elements and stair construction were staged with reinforcement and concrete activities to support the structural sequence through the basement and upper levels.
The outcome
The project reached recorded completion in September 2022 after the basement and upper-level concrete structure works.
