The project
Project overview.
USS Formwork supported ORWELL on the concrete structure at 27 Nelson Street, Yennora. The five-level, multi-purpose industrial project used a combination of slab formwork, temporary propping and reinforcement coordination across a broad floorplate.
The challenge
The broad industrial floorplate required formwork, reinforcement, crane movements and concrete pumping to be coordinated across several active work areas.
Our approach
Table and conventional slab formwork, temporary support and reinforcement interfaces were sequenced across the broad floorplate to support successive concrete pours.
The outcome
The recorded five-level concrete structure works reached completion in March 2024.
